The Apple iCloud is down or slow to unavailable: many of Apple iCloud services are currently unavailable. So iPod is in addition to the classic services like  iCloud Drive and Backup, iCloud Mail, Keychain and Apple Find My iPhone service for iPhone, iPad, disturbed touch and Mac. Also affected is the photo service photos. Apple itself communicates to the Status page for the Apple service and services merely that the specified services "for some users can be slow".

Unlike most iCloud services of Apple Messenger service iMessage and Siri is not affected by the down-time and should work as usual. The activation of new iOS devices and software updates in the Mac App Store and iOS App Store are easily accessible.

Also, do not seem all Apple iCloud services not to work: reminders, calendar, contacts, notes and bookmarks, which are also aligned on the Apple cloud, do not seem affected by the failure.
